JOB SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Sales is a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion within the healthcare/outpatient care sector. This role sets the overall sales vision, develops innovative strategies, and leads a high-performing sales organization. The VP of Sales works closely with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with organizational objectives, enhance patient acquisition, and foster strong partnerships with healthcare providers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Leads and motivate the sales team through regular training, performance reviews, and strategic guidance.
- Oversees the entire sales department, including regional sales managers, account executives, and sales support teams.
- Provides coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Collaborates with other senior leaders to integrate sales strategies across the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develops and executes comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the organization’s market presence in the healthcare/outpatient care industry.
- Establishes sales goals, forecasts, and budgets while monitoring performance against targets and KPIs.
- Identifies new market opportunities, build relationships with key healthcare providers and partners, and negotiate strategic contracts.
- Oversees the creation of tailored sales proposals and presentations to meet the unique needs of healthcare clients.
- Utilizes data analytics and market research to continuously refine sales tactics and drive innovation.
- Collaborates with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with new service offerings and industry trends.
- Represents the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and promote strategic partnerships.

- Works with customer success teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery, enhancing overall client satisfaction.
- Prepares regular reports for executive leadership, detailing sales performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities with proven experience in closing complex deals.
- Excellent analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive sales performance and strategy.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare/outpatient care industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
- An advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Certifications in sales leadership or healthcare management are a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role within the healthcare or outpatient care industry.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing high-performing sales teams.
