JOB SUMMARY:
PeopleOne Health is seeking a Medical Director who is board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics to lead our Broward County locations. We are looking for a dynamic physician who is both passionate about patient care and committed to leading our clinical team with excellence. The ideal candidate is experienced in adult medicine and pediatrics and dedicated to providing full-spectrum primary care—including common in-office procedures such as joint injections, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, laceration repair, incision and drainage, and Pap smears—ensuring comprehensive, accessible care within the outpatient setting.
This is a dual-role position that combines clinical leadership with direct patient care. The Medical Director will maintain an active panel and be empowered to practice at the top of their licensure while also mentoring and supporting the provider team. This includes fostering clinical excellence, promoting evidence-based best practices, and supporting a high standard of care delivery across the primary care team.
As a leader, the Medical Director will play a critical role in mentoring and developing providers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration, and guiding innovation in care delivery. You will partner closely with clinical and operational leadership to implement care model enhancements, optimize workflows, and help shape a system that improves health outcomes, elevates the patient experience, and reduces unnecessary healthcare costs. This role is well-suited for a physician who is passionate about mentoring others, driving change, and delivering care within a truly patient-centered model.
PeopleOne Health’s direct-pay model eliminates many of the administrative and insurance-related burdens of traditional practice, giving physicians the time and support needed to focus entirely on patient care. With smaller patient panels, longer appointments, and a strong interdisciplinary team—including an onsite clinical pharmacist, registered dietitian, and care coordinators—you will have the opportunity to practice medicine as it was meant to be: relationship-based, comprehensive, and impactful.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, mission-driven clinician and leader who takes pride in diagnosing, healing, educating, and advocating for patients—while helping shape the future of primary care. Our members benefit from coordinated care, extended visits, mental health screenings, and access to virtual specialist consultations through our eConsult platform—all delivered from within the PeopleOne Health office and with the support of a trusted physician.
If you’re ready to lead and practice medicine in a way that puts people first, we invite you to explore this opportunity to be part of something truly transformative.
