JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions that support the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent within the organization. This role focuses on delivering effective HR policies, handling complex employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and employment laws. The Senior HR Generalist collaborates with leadership and department heads to promote a positive work culture and operational excellence.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior HR staff and assistants.
  • May oversee specific HR projects or initiatives that involve cross-functional teams.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Administers HR programs including benefits, performance management, employee relations, and training initiatives.
  • Develops and updates HR policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Handles complex employee relations issues, conducts investigations, and provides guidance on conflict resolution.
  • Collaborates with leadership to identify workforce planning needs and implement talent development strategies.
  • Maintains and analyzes HR metrics, providing insights to optimize operational efficiency and employee engagement.
  • Ensures compliance with state, federal, and healthcare-specific regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA).
  • Facilitates training sessions and workshops on HR policies, workplace ethics, and diversity initiatives.

Other Duties:

  • Assists with the development of employee recognition.
  • Supports organizational change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and healthcare industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and drive actionable improvements.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a healthcare or outpatient care setting.
  • Proven track record in handling employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and policy implementation.

Salary Description
$90,350.00 - $135,550.00 per year
