About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Account Management to own and grow sponsor relationships across Iterative Health’s clinical trials portfolio. This client-facing role is critical to deepening partnerships with leading biopharma and biotech sponsors, ensuring commercial success and maximizing the impact of our IBD clinical research solutions. You will serve as the voice of the customer internally—partnering closely with product, operations, and clinical teams—to deliver on commitments, exceed expectations, and shape the future of sponsor engagement.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing life sciences partners, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs.
  • Build and expand strategic relationships with biopharma and biotech sponsors to drive renewals, growth, and long-term partnership value.
  • Lead account planning, including forecasting, performance reviews, and joint business planning with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful delivery of clinical trial programs by partnering cross-functionally with internal teams (product, operations, clinical) to align on timelines, outcomes, and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to expand partnerships through new studies, indications, or service offerings.
  • Provide commercial insights to inform pricing, go-to-market strategy, and the evolution of Iterative Health’s value proposition.
  • Represent Iterative Health at industry conferences, sponsor meetings, and advisory boards.
  • Track account health, satisfaction, and performance metrics to proactively address risks and opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of experience in life sciences with a focus on enterprise account management, strategic partnerships and clinical trials.
  • Proven success in managing and growing enterprise-level sponsor accounts in the biotech and biopharma space.
  • Skilled in relationship management, executive-level communication, and strategic account planning.
  • Strong track record of delivering against growth targets in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across internal functions and navigate cross-functional ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the clinical trials and sponsor landscape.
  • Prior managerial experience.
  • Advanced degree in healthcare or business (MBA, MPH, PhD).
